防空洞 Air-Raid Shelter

防空洞是橋仔頭糖廠區內隨處見的景觀，他們是日治時期的產物，二戰期間，日本避免戰爭空襲而帶來的人員死傷，在各地挖掘防空洞。尤其是糖廠這種重要的產業中心，特別容易成為對手轟炸的目標
，所以廠區內每隔不遠的距離就可看見避難的防空洞。
造型各有巧妙，有拱形、方形，有磚造、有礁岩砌成，有建在地上、有建在地下，有砌在礁岩駁坎內部。要在任何一個地方找到這麼齊全的防空洞樣式，不會是一件輕易的事。
